QWAK, After several calls to try and pay my County TAXES over the phone and then calling and talking to several people all with the IQ of a sack of ROCKS, I gave up and was finely able to do it on line but with an added FEE of $4.50 for the CINVIENCE of NOT going there in person and being run threw the metal detector and frisked by 4 big COPS at the front door.

So I managed to pay them and I got a recipt in the MAIL:applause_:yippee::congrats: At least THAT is over with for this year!:rant:

I look at the bill and notice TWO charges that make NO sence to me, so I call the county agen -- twice as a matter of fact and FINELY find out what that FEE is and why I been paying it year after year!

It is because THEY are LAZY and it makes the County more $$$:rant:

It is not all that much realy or at least not indivigualy for me just $7.87 and the other just $.50 But multiplied by GOD only knows how many others like my self, it is a LOT I am SHURE!

This is how it works, WE have a PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX over and above the Real estate and Timber tax. and befor you can get your new licence plate sticker and PAY that TAX you have to REASSESS each year. So they are TAXING me on MY 2000 Tahoe and my old 79 jimmy that has NOT moved in 7 years AND my Horse trailor that has NOT moved in over 20 years! That is BAD ENOUGH :rant: but I got to CALL them every year and TELL them I still got the SAME STUFF I had LAST year and the FEES are for NOT calling or going down there and TELLING them "I GOT the SAME STUFF!":banghead:

I tried to talk to two diferent people at the county and they said they can't help and I should take IT up with the GOVERNMENT and I said "I AM, I am talking to YOU and YOU ARE the GOVERNMENT and BOTH said NO I'm NOT, I'm a TAX PAYER just like YOU! :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Talk about a DISCONECT --- if it were NOT for the skin ,bone and Muscle tissue -- there HEADS would float away in the BREEZ like BALOONS!:hahaha::haha::508:
